A B D U L -A L I urf ALI MUNIR ( Urdu POet and Author and retired Principal of Hazaribag High School).

Born and Brought up in a village near Gaya, Abdul Ali famously known as Ali Sir and writes with pen name Ali Munir has been a gem of Hazaribag in terms of Urdu literature.

Served Hazaribag High School for 39 years as a teacher and Principal.

Ali Sir has written ample number of Urdu poetry and has also penned down around 5 books. Talking to him about those days when there was no internet, computers and people were unaware about the future technologies, he says, "During those days every student was minutely judged and they were completely dependent upon their teachers (shagird). Nowadays things have changed and smart classes have taken over the traditional teaching techniques". He furthers says that earlier teachers used to do lot of hard work to provide quality education to students and reading books was the only solution for teachers to justify their profession

Ali Sir has written a beautiful "S A F A R N A M A" when he attended a conference in Kashmir university and stayed their for more than a week.
