SHRADHA SHARMA  (The power girl- winner of silver medal in power lifting).

Born and brought up in small town of Jharkhand, Shradha Sharma did her schooling from DAV public school, Hazaribag. Shradha recently won Silver medal in State level power lifting and bench press competition held in Ranchi. Participants from all over Jharkhand took part in the competition and Shradha won Silver medal. 

Being a girl and showing interest in the field of power lifting is a rare scenario for small towns like Hazaribag. Beating all odds, Shradha converted a dream into reality.

Her story is really an inspiring one. One fine morning, Shradha, joined GYM just to keep herself fit.  As time passed Shradha got attracted towards dumbells and barbells and she started lifting heavy weights and doing bench press regulary. Her activity was closely monitored by the owner of Shape UP Gym', HarshVardhan who runs this GYM in Matwari locality of Hazaribag. HarshVardhan got impressed by Shradha's strength and power and decided to hone her skills further. After getting the nod from trainer, Shradha dedicated herself towards power lifting and changed her diet as well routine according to the demand of power lifting. She worked out rigorously for 1 and half months and made herself competition ready in such a short span of time.

She competed for All Jharkhand Power Lifting & Bench Press Competition held in Ranchi and won silver medal.

After talking to her, we came to know that, she is planning to raise her level and ready to compete at National level in future.
