Kajol Aikat ( An Author, National Best Seller, written 4 books only at the age of 22, from Jharkhand) 

Kajol Aikat has written his first book at the age of 19 years when he was doing his BBA from BIT Mesra, Ranchi. He was born and brought up in Hazaribag, Jharkhand. His book 'Reason to Live' is a 'National Best Seller' which he wrote two years back in 2015.

Kajol Aikat has done his schooling from Vivekanand Central School, Hazaribag till 10th and has done his plus two from DAV public school, Hazaribag. He then moved to Ranchi to complete his education and graduated in business management at the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra in 2014. He used to write short stories in school but he wrote novels only when he was doing BBA. His first book Unsocial Amigos was published when he was 19 years old. Unsocial Amigos is a young adult romance fiction about live-in relationships. 

Then he wrote a short story called 'Life Isn't a Fairy tale' which was published in the anthology 'The Unbreakable You' by Write India Publishers in January 2015. It is about a bullied boy who suffers from epilepsy but eventually fights back to redeem himself. His book 'Reason to Live' which is a national Best Seller was published in October 2015, which is a romance fiction about a tormented and pessimistic author who falls in love to find his reason to live. His other recent work is 'The Cotton Seed' which is a short story published under the Tiny Tales series, released in January 2017. It's a fictional period drama, set in 17th century Bihar, on the theme of women empowerment.

Kajol is writing consistently after his first novel and is soon going to publish his 5th book (maybe this August).

Talking with Kajol about his inspiration and love for writing, he talked about his inspiration and the benefit of being in Hazaribag. He was inspired by J.K Rowling and the Character Harry Potter, and the natural beauty of Hazaribag is an added benefit in his writing, as he talked about how the landscape and nature helped him in bringing the creative side out of him.
