Chanchala kumari. (Girl from the small village of Jharkhand selected for World Wrestling Championship)

Born and brought up in a small village named Hatwal which comes under the Ormanjhi block of Ranchi district, Chanchala kumari got selected for the sub-junior World Wrestling Championships which is going to be held in Hungary from 19th July to 25th July.

She is the first wrestler from Jharkhand who will represent our country, indeed a proud moment for all the people of Jharkhand and the village she belongs to.

After being selected for the championship, she has become the talk of the town? No! She has become the talk of the village! As she belongs to a family which is mainly dependent on farming and her father Narendra Nath Pahan is also a plumber by profession.

Chanchala's coach says, "it has been the happiest moment in his life as being selected for India is a big task and Chanchala has put tremendous efforts in reaching this level".

Let's hope Chanchala brings a gold medal for our country and makes our country and Jharkhand proud.
