She belongs to Hazaribag and has been writing consistently from very Young age.

ISMA ZAFAR ((Young poet from Jharkhand)

Born and brought up in Hazaribag, Isma Zafar is making her mark in English poetry at a very young age.

She is just pursuing her graduation, and her 3 poems have been published in renowned anthologies. 

Isma did her schooling from St.Xavier's School and pursuing her graduation from Aligarh Muslim University. She is pursuing English language from Aligarh. Since the University is closed these days, she came back to Hazaribag and Humans of Jharkhand got the time to interview her.

Hazaribag has produced many poets and authors at very young age and Hazaribag being a small town has a long history of producing artists from all walks of life. Poets& Authors like Mihir Vatsa, Kanishq Banka, Ankur Kumar , Kajol Aikatand Fatima Zohra started writing at a very early age and got popular too. They all are very good author, novelist and poets. In the footsteps of these artists, Isma Zafar also started her dream and started writing poetry. 

She took up the issues of women empowerment and other important societal issues. Her poems got published in very good anthologies and she is planning to publish a book on her own.

Isma Zafar is the daughter of a renowned journalist and former Urdu teacher Zafarullah Sadique sir.
