Born and brought up in a small village 'Basur da' in Saraikela - Kharsavan district, Kamdev Pan has done various innovations with two-wheelers and 3 wheeler and he has just got an intermediate degree. He is not an engineer, neither pursued college after intermediate but his love with various electronic devices inspired him to do various inventions which are purely made in Jharkhand.
Kamdev Pan has recently made a cost-effective bicycle that runs on a battery and also has a pedal in it. The battery bicycle can go up to 50 km to 60 km at a speed of 35 km per hour on a single charge and if the battery drains, one can pedal and reach the destination.
Kamdev has also designed a rickshaw that runs on battery for physically challenged persons.
Kamdev's father is a vegtable seller in village and Kamdev shifted to jamshepur where he does all the engineer works , he has rented a room and designs his bicycle in his small room. He works in a mobile shop and uses his earnings for various innovation which are exclusively made in Jhakrhand.
He got various job offers from automobile companies but he did not join any and wants to develop his own 'Made in Jharkhand' which can be cost effective and affordable for the common people . He has got mastery over the converting bikes that runs on petrol into battery or we can say electric mode.
After studying from Utkramit vidyalaya in Basur da village, Kamdev did his matricualtion from Hatha village.
Few days days back he met with Chief Minister of Jharkhand Shri Hemant Soren with his new innovation and is hopeful of getting some support from the government so that he can come up with his product in large scale and give the people of Jharkhand the cheapest electric bicycle.
